O Festival Internacional de Criatividade Cannes Lions acaba de anunciar os profissionais que irão presidir as 27 categorias da 66a edição do evento que irá acontecer de 17 a 21 de junho de 2019 na Riviera Francesa. Entre os escolhidos dois brasileiros, PJ Pereira, da Pereira O’Dell, que vai liderar área de Social & Influencer Lions e Jaime Mandelbaum, daVMLY&R Europa, na área de Brand Experience & Activation Lions .
A organização também anunciou dois novos Leões: Entertainment Lion for Sport e Creative Strategy Lions. A categoria Product Design Lion foi retirada do evento. Segundo o Cannes Lions, as mudanças representam as transformações da indústria e como o futuro da criatividade está evoluindo.
“Para ganhar um Leão em Cannes é preciso demonstrar excelência criativa. Nossos júris vão reconhecer a melhor saída criativa e também sinalizar o futuro da criatividade. Nossos presidentes de júri são fundamentais neste processo. Estamos extremamente orgulhosos com a definição dos júris deste ano”, revela Philip Thomas, presidente do Cannes Lions.
